which 1 is the best and most precise lost partition and files recovery software?
due to installing in and out windows xp and 7 and different other messy actions i just all of a sudden lost my two important partitions with like all the data, i didnt touch them or anything, but seems like they formatted and deleted themselves just like that, but whatever the reason was, i just need the most accurate and preferably noob safe too and just simply the best software that could give me my precious partitions (one of them is 140 gig big and another 1 is 30 gigs) back like if they were untouched at all, plz help ppl!
guys i need 1 that recovers all partition at once, recuva lists files 1 by 1, but i had waay too much files on 140 gigs (basically it was all full) and i need it back the same it was, with all the folders and structure etc..
just give me the name of the best software, even if its for buying..
..for a whole partition recovery, i repeat
i found myself and if anyone is interested it’ s called
ACTIVE@ PARTITION RECOVERY
pretty good stuff, got my partitions and files back like they was before =}
The "best and most precise" will cost you a couple of thousand dollars. It is only available to professional recovery companies.
The best "free" one that I have found is Recuva available from http://recuva.com
Whether it (or any program) will be able to recover the partitions depends on exactly what happened to them. Most of the free software can recover files accidentally deleted, or partitions that were quick formatted. But can not recover partitions that were full formatted as a full format overwrites everything.
Install Recuva on another parition, and then set it to scan the hard drive with the missing pratition(s). If anything is recoverable, Recuva will list the files for you. Depending on exactly what happened to the drives, it may or may not be able to recover them on the original hard drive. It might have to copy them to another drive instead, so be sure you have lots of free space somewhere to save those files if needed.

U might want to try "Spinrite". It’s a small programme that runs independently of your OS (u boot from the CD). And it does an awesome job of data recovery.
I’m not sure if it does anything with partitions though. For that u might want to try "Acronis True Image" or something similar.
